In 2000 years of Church history, Pope Francis will be the fourth successor of Peter to visit the Holy Land. Paul VI was the first, in 1964 during the Second Vatican Council. John Paul II had the joy of coming during the Great Jubilee and Pope Benedict XVI came in in 2009.
