Fear of Anti-Christian Extremism Increases As Pope’s Trip to Israel Nears

Christian groups have expressed “great concern” about a rising tide of hate graffiti and threats in Israel as the country prepares for Pope Francis’ visit to the Holy Land May 24-26, Custos of the Holy Land Pierbattista Pizzaballa said on Friday. A mass demonstration against hate crimes will take place before Israeli Prime Minister’s office on May 11th.
