Abortions drop to 25-year low in Israel, but one family in four without children
Two separate reports released in January by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Health shine a light on the country’s households and family composition. According to a report showing 2012 figures compiled by the Ministry of Health, abortions dropped 21% since 1990, steadily decreasing over the last quarter century.
