Talks To End Syria’s Confict Off To Shakey Start In Montreux

Key negotiators for talks between the Syrian government and opposition leaders on Thursday in the resort city of Montreux, Switzerland hope to convince all sides to reach an agreement for full-fledged meetings that will shift to nearby Geneva on Friday. Following the day of talks, UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon said that it was time for the conflict to draw to an end.
