Monsignor Georges Abou Khazen, a Franciscan of the Custody of the Holy Land, the new Apostolic Vicar of Aleppo, Syria, was ordained a bishop in Beirut, Lebanon. In his first message as bishop, he asked Syrian refugees not to abandon their land and their Church.
