Pope confirms: To the Holy Land in May

On 5th January, Pope Francis officially announced that he will travel to the Holy Land from 24th to 26th May. The Pope explained that he wishes to “commemorate the historic meeting between Pope Paul VI and the Patriarch Athenagoras, on 5th January, exactly 50 years ago today.” Pope Francis will be in the Holy Land together with the ecumenical patriarch Bartholomew.
