Bartholomew I to Make History at Pope’s Inaugural Mass

The presence of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew I, at Pope Francis’s inaugural Mass tomorrow is a sign of just how far relations have come since the Great Schism of 1054. It is the first time in over a thousand years that the Greek Orthodox leader has attended a papal inauguration.
