Pope’s Lebanon Visit "a Great Success" But Impact Will Take Time

During his three day visit to Beirut at the weekend, Pope Benedict XVI made a series calls on the region’s people to work towards peace and reconciliation and to strengthen unity and a sense of fraternity. Indeed, the visit served to contrast how, compared to the unrest elsewhere, Christians and Muslims were able to peacefully come together.
