Assyrian Church of the East to Resume Talks with Holy See

Talks between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East, aimed at ironing out their differences and possible communion, will resume on October 4 at the Vatican. The reunion might mark the final stage of talks between the ancient Church and the Holy See. The Assyrian Christians are not in full communion with any other Churches, either Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, or Catholic.
