Historian Malik: Radicals’ Resurgence Major Concern of Arab Spring
The major concern that many people have in the Arab world, especially among minority groups, is the “possible resurgence of radical groups” at the end of the “unfolding Arab civil war”, says professor Habib C. Malik of the American Lebanese University of Beirut. He also points out that “lots of people in the Arab and Islamic world are tired of Al Qaeda and resent the image that Al Qaeda has given about Islam”.
