A Closer Look at Recent Unrest in Tunisia, Egypt and Lebanon

Political turmoil in Tunisia, which resulted in the deposing of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, has now spread to Egypt where over the past two days demonstrators have been taking to the streets to protest against the regime of President Hosni Mubarak. Meanwhile, Lebanon has been experiencing unrest. To understand the situation better in these countries, we spoke with the respected Jesuit Egyptian scholar Fr. Samir Khalil Samir.
